We carry a full range of MTB, Gravel, Road, Cargo and E-Cargo bike options. All available fully custom. Contact us to discuss your needs. At Porteur, we believe that bikes are always the best option for fun first travel. We work with smaller brands that align to our philosophy.
We offer a superb collection of cargo bikes in our cycle café in Hove, with both electric and pedal power options that we hope will encourage and enable people to loose their second car or ditch their work van.
Larry vs harry Bullitt
Cars are great and that but running costs, endless traffic jams and emissions are not! Leave the traffic blues behind and have some fun on the school run, pick up the weekly groceries or just take a trip to the beach!
Larry vs Harry are owned and operated by Lars Malmborg and Hans Fogh, who are helped by a dedicated bike and riding loving team. The foundation of their working relationship and continuing innovation, was, and still is, their uncompromising dedication to quality and it is this that carries the success of the Bullitt. Larry vs Harry have been making the Bullitt and nothing but the Bullitt for well over a decade. This time has been spent refining and improving what we see as the perfect do-it-all cargo bike. The Bullitt is a bicycle for everyone and everything.
Fast and easy to maneuver, the Bullitt’s unique stiff, three dimensional frame construction and geometry ensure stability at speed and over a variety of surfaces. Its slim cargo platform functions well in navigating narrow bicycle lanes and plays nicely when sharing the road with other road users.

OMnium CARGO
‘Omnium is a cargo bike that doesn’t feel like a cargo bike’ Fast and agile, not twitchy or shaky but agile and speedy.
Founder Jimmi “Jumbo” Bargisen has been a bike messenger since 2002. He knew a thing or two about what he wanted out of a bike, how it should ride, and what it should be capable of, so in 2012, he designed his dream bike, and Omnium came to be.
The first prototypes are strikingly similar to what you see in our lineup today, however their application and relevance continue to evolve with the increased acceptance and need for cargo bikes in our everyday lives. This is ultimately what has gotten us this far, and we feel incredibly humbled to be a part of this movement.

SOMA Fabrications
Practical, durable, comfortable, affordable… these are the primary forces shaping Soma’s ideology. Sounds reasonable right? But why do so many other companies try to emulate the racing world when it’s the smallest segment of the market? Our local bike shops have felt a lack of ‘real’ products aimed at the everyday cyclist and occasionally pitch their ideas at us. The results: A better tire lever, water bottles that don’t taste like plastic, and steel frames that’s got people smiling from the commute to the singletrack.
